On Saturday, January 11, three high school band students competed in the ATSSB Area Band auditions for the opportunity to play in the ATSSB All-State Band. In addition, one student competed earlier in the year in the ATSSB Area Jazz auditions.

The Bellville High School Band recently announced its annual Chicken Spaghetti Dinner Concert will be Feb. 1. Dinner tickets are available to purchase for $12 from band students or the head director, Kenneth Peters. Chicken spaghetti plates can be picked up Feb. 1, at Concordia Hall between 4:30 and 6:30. 

Bellville High School students Ilsa Grave, Lillian Polk, and Celeste Pawelek competed in the 2025 UIL Congress State Championship. 

The Bellville High School Livestock Judging Team had a strong performance at the National Western Roundup in Denver, Colorado. Darcy Luedke earned 2nd place individually, and Paisley Miller placed 7th in the High Individual category, showcasing their hard work and expertise. Their success highlights the importance of agricultural education and the dedication of Bellville students.

The Bellville Drone Club had an impressive weekend at Cy Falls High School, earning the Airmanship Award, placing third in the alliance teamwork mission, and finishing first overall in the qualification rounds. These achievements showcase their skill, teamwork, and dedication to drone safety and technology. Their success highlights the talent of Bellville students and their hard work in this growing field.

Bellville High School seniors are voting on the theme for Prom 2025, with options including Red Carpet, Enchanted Forest, Under the Sea, and Great Gatsby. The winning theme will shape the decorations, attire, and atmosphere for the big event. Voting closes on January 17, 2025, giving students a chance to decide how they’ll celebrate this memorable night.

The Bellville Brahma Family mourns the loss of Ms. Tracy Elaine Sanders, a cherished member of the Child Nutrition Team at West End Elementary, who passed away on January 2, 2025. Her warmth, dedication, and impact on the school community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

On December 12, 2024, the talented Bellville High School Playmakers brought the classic musical Oklahoma! to life on stage. Performed in the Bellville High School Auditorium at 6:30 PM, this unforgettable production showcased the hard work, dedication, and creativity of our students.

On Monday, Nov. 11, Bellville TAFE competed at the Area 5 TAFE Leadership Competition in Huntsville, Texas. Students participated in contests and competitions related to education. Nine teams advanced to the state competition which will be held at Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas.

Bellville FFA competed in Area XI LDE competition, and earned sweepstakes title. Eight teams are advancing to the state competition in Huntsville on Dec. 6.

On Saturday, November 9, Bellville Science Olympiad travelled to Cy-Falls High School to compete in an early invitational. This year, 45 teams competed at the Cy-Falls Invitational and several Bellville teams placed in the top ten.

Bellville High School's Brahmadoras showcased their talent and school spirit with a stunning performance at the 75th Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade in Houston.
