The JV softball team at Bellville High School had an incredible 2025 season, although it came to an early end due to several other schools not having JV teams to compete against. Despite the shortened season, the girls finished with an impressive 4-2 overall record and a 3-2 district record.
The team showed up and gave their all every day in practice, rain or shine. Throughout the season, they faced many challenges, but their drive, focus, and teamwork only brought them closer together.
We spoke with two players about their perspective on this season. One shared,
“No matter the challenges we faced, we never gave up on each other and always pushed each other to give our best effort.”
Another player highlighted the positive impact their coaches made on everyone, saying,
“Our coaches worked just as hard as us, always keeping it positive and upbeat, making sure to always put smiles on our faces.”
These girls consistently put the team first and gave everything they had to the game.
A special thanks to Kailyn Schubert and Paisley Dierking for taking the time to speak with us and share their thoughts on the season!
