On Tuesday, October 8, Bellville High School hosted its annual College and Career Fair, offering junior and senior students a valuable opportunity to explore future educational and career paths. Organized by Mrs. Huerta, the event featured participation from 65 to 70 colleges, universities, technical/trade schools, and industry employers. Students from Faith Academy also joined the event, which was held in the school cafeteria.
The event began with juniors attending from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, followed by seniors from 9:45 to 10:15 AM. With setup starting early, students were able to engage directly with representatives from various institutions and industries, allowing them to explore post-high school options firsthand.
The event was designed to help students start planning for life after graduation, whether their paths lead to higher education or directly into the workforce. The diverse range of participants gave students an excellent chance to ask questions and gather valuable information.
Bellville ISD celebrated the event with a post on their Facebook page, noting the strong turnout from businesses and colleges and thanking the community for their involvement.
The College and Career Fair continues to be an essential annual event, empowering students with knowledge and resources as they plan their futures.
