With rivalry and romance wrapped into one, Bellville Playmakers’ highly anticipated production of “Oklahoma!” is sure to impress. Featuring a mixture of soft-hearted duets and up-beat, ensemble performances, the Rodgers and Hammerstein show is unmissable.
Friday, Sept. 20th, the Playmakers announced the cast list for the upcoming musical to the excitement of many.
Notably, a charismatic Curly McLain will be played by Caleb Jackson. Caleb is in his junior year, and he first took the stage with the Playmakers as King Agnarr in their 2023 production of Frozen Jr.
In addition, sweetheart Laurey Williams will be played by Tylin Jackson. Tylin is in her senior year, and she has performed many times with the Playmakers, including her most recent performance as Kate Keller in the 2024 One Act Play production of The Miracle Worker.
The two leads are working hard alongside their fellow cast members to put on a dazzling performance, this December. Their co-stars include:

- Jasper Davoody, as Will Parker
- Maddie Diezi, as Ado Annie
- Rowan Minnaar, as The Peddler
- Maggie Davoody, as Gertie Cummings

Without a doubt, they, alongside the unnamed cast and crew, will put on a delightful performance of the timeless classic.
