On Monday, October 7, the Bellville Cross Country team kicked off their week in impressive fashion at the UIL 4A District 22 Varsity and JV Meet, held at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. With an early start at 8:30 AM, our athletes were ready to compete and represent Bellville in this crucial district event.

The Varsity Girls team delivered a strong performance, finishing in 2nd place overall, securing their spot in the regional championships. Leading the way for the Varsity squad was Crosby Stark, who took home an impressive 3rd place finish. Ava Poenitzsch also had an outstanding run, crossing the line in 6th place to help push the team to their regional qualification.

The JV Girls also had a successful outing, with Natalie Lutz dominating the race to claim 1st place and be crowned the JV District Champion. Allison Gonzalez added to the team’s success with a Top 10 finish, taking 10th place overall.
