Pumpkin Decorating Contest Results

Thursday, Oct. 31, the annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest results were revealed during Flex. Bellville High School librarian, Mrs. Hancock, sponsors the contest every year. This year, the theme was Pop Culture Icons.

First place was awarded to the counselor, Mrs. Holoman. Her Beetlejuice pumpkin was a perfect ode to a classic spooky film.

Seniors Trevari, D’Ante and Corrian submitted a Terrifier pumpkin. It placed second in the contest and features creepy, 3-D elements that are more than similar to the movie.

Third place was awarded to Emma Dristas’ Despicable Me pumpkin. Bob the Minion is certainly a fan favorite and makes for an award winning pumpkin.
