Student Council Gives Snack Bags to Bus Drivers

On October 16th, several student council members showed their appreciation for our Bellville ISD bus drivers with snack bags.

Student Council recognizes the importance of bus drivers, understanding that their jobs are commonly overlooked yet extremely important.

Bus drivers are responsible for getting students from all campuses to and from school safely each and every day, early in the morning to late at night. The safety of their students is the most important aspect of their job, and that is truly something worth recognition.

Understanding the value of our bus drivers, the student council assembled these snack bags to show their gratitude.

Mia Surovik

Mia Surovik is a junior at Bellville High School who has enjoyed writing for as long as she can remember. She is one of the founding four members of The Bellville Herd and now serves as a reporter for the paper. She has been a member of the UIL Journalism team since her freshman year and is involved in many different activities, such as being a drum major of the Big Red Brahma Band, tenor player on the drumline, member of National Honor Society, member of the Girl Scout Advisory Board and a Gold Award Girl Scout. In her free time, Mia enjoys playing many different instruments, writing songs, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family.
