Bellville TAFE Fundraises with Scary Sweet Treats for Halloween

The new Bellville TAFE chapter announced they will be selling “Boo Grams” to fundraise and celebrate Halloween, this year.

Mrs. Jacob started the chapter of Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) this school year, replacing the former Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) organization.

Pronounced “taffy”, the organization emphasizes preparing students for the education field through experience and leadership opportunities. It includes a variety of competitions that promote professional skills like public speaking or specialized skills like lesson planning.

In the next two weeks, TAFE members will be raising money for their competitions with “Boo Grams” sales. Students will be able to buy treats during lunch from Oct. 21st to Oct. 31st for one to two dollars each, depending on the type of candy. They will be passed out during Flex on Thursday, October 31st.
