The Bellville Cross Country teams had an outstanding showing at the Moulton Cross Country Meet, with several runners achieving personal records and bringing home top honors.
The Bellville Girls Varsity team dominated the competition, clinching 1st place as a team. Leading the pack, Ava Poenitzsch secured a strong 3rd place finish, with Crosby Stark coming in 9th, Emma Freiermuht taking 11th, and Miriam Orduna finishing 18th, all earning medals for their top-20 performances.
In the JV Girls division, Bellville captured an impressive 2nd place as a team. Mikaela Skardenni earned the 1st place medal, with Natalie Lutz following closely behind in 2nd, Mariana Aldape in 5th, and Allyson Gonzalez in 9th, adding to the team’s medal haul.
The JV Boys team secured a respectable 5th place overall, with two standout performances. Case Eckermann finished 10th, and Genaro Santos took 11th, both earning top-20 medals.
